A complex of strong to severe thunderstorms moved across central
and northeast Kansas during the late morning and afternoon. The
storms produced strong winds and large hail. Late afternoon
temperatures ranged from the 60s to lower 70s in the rain-cooled 
air, to the upper 70s and 80s in rain-free areas.

The weather will remain unsettled across mid-America tonight
through Wednesday. Strong to severe storms will be most likely
across central and eastern Kansas this evening, with the risk for
severe storms shifting across the high Plains on Wednesday, from
western Nebraska, to across western Kansas.

Low temperatures tonight will fall into the 50s and 60s, with highs
on Wednesday in the 70s and 80s.
